Public Safety

The City of Syracuse Police Department, Airport Division, is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of passengers, visitors and employees of Syracuse Hancock International Airport. Unattended Baggage

Due to security measures mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration and/or the Transportation Security Administration, it is not permissible to leave any baggage unattended, for any period of time.

Unattended Vehicles

Due to stringent security measures mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration, vehicles may not be left unattended in front of the Airport Terminal. Unattended vehicles may be ticketed and towed. If you have a special need that requires assistance, please contact the Syracuse Police Department Airport Division at 315-454-3263.
