Syracuse Hancock International Airport provides commercial facilities for Fixed Base Operators(FBO) and activities that involve the sale of general aviation products and services to the public. It also provides for noncommercial facilities limited to the basing and servicing of private aircraft maintained by individuals or organizations.

There are currently two fixed base operators doing business at the Airport; Syracuse ExecAir Services, Inc., and Landmark Aviation.

Syracuse ExecAir Services, Inc. has been in business at the airport for over 23 years. Since 1976 ExecAir has provided customer service, fuel, live service aircraft, charter, maintenance and flight lessons to the Central New York area. Landmark Aviation provides such support services as deicing, fueling and cargo handling for most of the major airlines flying into Syracuse, as well as flight instruction, charter and cargo services, and aircraft management services to private clients.
